Chapter Working Bodies
Welcome to the working bodies of our chapter! Each of these types of groups serves a different purpose, but all are ultimately shared spaces for comrades to connect and work together. Most group communication takes place on Discord, most files are stored on Google Drive, and events can be found on Google Calendar.
Our chapter working bodies change over time to reflect the ongoing projects and needs of the chapter. Groups can be formed, dissolved, restructured, or reformed based on members’ decisions! An example of this is the New Strategy - a proposal that passed in June 2025. The resolution transitioned “working groups” to “campaigns” to better focus chapter organizing efforts, increase new member engagement, and lower the barrier to entry to chapter work.
Is there a group you would like to see here but don’t? That’s actually how all chapter working bodies start - a member has an idea, garners interest from the chapter, and brings it into reality!

Campaigns
A series of efforts to bring about a desired result. In Triangle DSA, campaigns are groups that work together to achieve a specific goal.
- Abort Fake Clinics (AFC) Campaign

- No Appetite for Apartheid (NA4A) Campaign
- Demand: No products produced by or in support of the Israeli occupation are bought and sold in the Triangle.
- Solar Bond Campaign
- Demand: A bond issued for the installation of solar panels on public buildings.

- ICE Response Coordinating Committee: Facilitates the coordination of our chapter’s ICE response work.
- Political Education Committee (PEC): Offers educationals on Marxism and other socialist subjects, supporting the political development of the membership body.
- Socialists in Office (SiO) Committee: Manages relationships with candidates and electeds, oversees campaigns and chapter involvement with endorsed candidates, engages in co-governance with endorsed electeds, and builds political capacity through the development of cadre candidates and tailored political education.
- Steering Committee (SC): The executive body of the chapter that administers the affairs, oversees the implementation of decisions made at General Meetings, and acts on matters that require immediate or urgent action.
